How to make your pint last all day
Keep the pint cool – Get yourself one of those chemical ice-packs for injuries. After an hour or so, crack it open, and wrap it around your beverage. Hey presto: it’s like you’ve just bought it.
Go minesweeping – Some people just don’t understand the value of the last two sips. Wait ‘til these wasteful types have left the pub, then nip over and finish their backwash. Take the glass to the bar afterwards, and the bar staff’ll love you so much they’ll let you carry on all day.
Create fake identities – Running perilously low on that pint? Quick, pretend it’s your birthday and befriend the nearest person who looks like they might have full pockets. Drunk that one too? Tell someone you’re about to become a parent. Necked that one as well? Well, there’s no helping you then...
Play coin football – Fact: if you’re not actually drinking, your drink lasts longer. Indulge in a nice game of coin footie instead. Place three coins in a triangle formation, then flick them forwards one by one, using the coin that’s furthest back, sliding it between the other two. The target is the makeshift goal your opponent has made with his fingers
Get a job there – Hey, we’ve given you four top tips already. What more do you want from us? If you can’t make a pint last all day with these gems, you’re going to have to ask the landlord for a job.
