The Bramley Baths are one of the last remaining Edwardian public bathhouses in the north of England. It is now a non-for-profit pool surrounded by colourful cubicles.

If you want to see a film, we strongly recommend the Hyde Park Picture House which was established in 1914. Within this Grade II listed building, you can find an ornate balcony, gaslighting and an ornate balcony.

The City Varieties Music Hall was built in 1865 above the White Swan pub in Swan Street. From the fifties to the eighties the theatre had national renown as the venue for the BBC show The Good Old Days which was a nostalgic return to old-time music hall featuring the likes of Leonard Sachs.

Roundhay Park (right) covers 700 acres of parkland, woodland and lakes. It’s one of the biggest urban parks in the world. There are many birds including gulls, geese, swans, herons and grebes. There is also an open-air swimming pool that dates back to 1907.
