Fuji Hiro

Fuji Hiro is a fantastic little noodle bar around the back of the Merrion Centre. The idea is to provide a kind of fast food environment, but without the slash–your–wrists–style depressive tendencies of the nearby McDonald's. Smiling staff will rush you bowls of ramen, fried squid and udon quicker than you can say 'konnichiwa'. Closely set formica tables mean you'll be forced to show your embarrassing incompetence with chopsticks to strangers, but that's the price you pay for fast living. It's cheap too.
