"The best Tex–Mex this side of the Rio Grande – and possibly even the other –" so proclaims Kinky 'the kinkster' Freidman, and I for one am not going to argue with a man called Kinky. It's long been a Headingley staple offering up not only the best Mexican but the best food in studentville. They've introduced a new menu for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings which offers up a selection of the usual; as well as a few more unusual options – the Huevos Ranchos rock – and every dish is £7 or less. The food will never dissapoint, the decor's vaguely Mexican and the staff are friendly. The only criticism is they don't take plastic, but if Kinky can pay in cash so can you, amigo.
