With branches in Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Masborough, Sheffield and Leeds, the Pulse & Cocktails chain aim to take the sleaze out of sex shopping. Well a pat on the back to them then, as there's not a grubby mackintosh in sight here. The staff are dead friendly, you're given time to browse – hell, they'll even make you a coffee! – and it's a great place for nervous first–time couples. Needless to say they also stock all the usual outfits, toys, books and mags, as well as R18 videos and DVDs.
