Bar Pacific
Hidden away on an alleyway between Briggate and Lands Lane, Pacific's a fine venue for outdoor drinking that's lapped up by skiving office workers and lunching shoppers. It's always rammed when there's a show on at City Varieties, but also demands a look when on city centre drinking missions –the acoustic gigs on Thursday night offer a plausible excuse for midweek boozy action.
