Northern Light, The

A former school house that's been converted into a huge and visually spectacular bar and restaurant. It's located 20 seconds away from The Calls, but has grown on the locals. It's heaving every weekend with queues reaching across the street. Once inside, the super chic punters are complemented by the Northern Light's fine looking interior where you can knock back a mixture of cocktails across two floors. The downstairs floor is converted as a restaurant during the day serving some delicious and quite reasonable locally sourced organic/Modern British food. See also restaurant section
