Leeds Industrial Museum

Ever wondered why the Leeds crest includes two tortured sheep? If so, this could be the kind of worthy and umm, kind of dull, local history lesson to tempt you... Housed in what was once the largest woollen mill in the world this museum shows how Leeds developed from a small market town to an industrial city. Expect a thousand under 12s to be trudging round, huffing and puffing at the school–trip sheer boredom of it all.
