La Cafetieré
The ambience – and a lot of the menu – is vaguely Middle Eastern, the name's French, and the deep bass music is of diverse and indeterminate origin. This somewhat confused Hyde Park establishment is best known, like all the others, for a fine Sunday afternoon brekkie. The service is, er, relaxed, and it's probably not the most professional set up in the world, but there's a chilled, colourful atmosphere and it does the job on an empty stomach. Just don't expect the River Café.
