Hyena Lounge
Absolutely cracking Thursday night comedy club, The Hyena Lounge, in the upstairs room of The Original Oak, is exactly what live comedy should be all about. Everyone crams into a small room, there's a great bond between the audience and the comics and you always laugh your tits off — it's for these reasons that the Hyena is rated by most comedians as the best room to play in the North. Hence loads of top circuit acts make the trip out of London to play here. It's only a fiver and always rammed so get there early.
