Debenhams

Still a favourite with the over-forties due to the likes of John Rocha making slightly dated clothes at high street prices, Debenhams is trying to branch out and appeal to people who still have their own teeth with younger designers and concessions like Faith and Topshop. It has everything a department store should have, with a vast cosmetics range including Benefit and Dior and a choking number of perfume counters, but just doesn't get our juices flowing. Itchy thinks they should do something radical to revive our interest, like rename it Deb 'n' Hams and have Paul Daniels' missus serving up sequined sides of pork. We'd go then. As it stands, less than magical.
