Oxfam Originals
Boasting a prime location to lure in the vampire bats hanging outside the Corn Exchange, Leeds' city centre Oxfam tends to stock a lot of gothic clothing. But don't let that put you off investigating further if you're not of a dark persuasion; cheese fans can indulge in a CD rack jam-packed with PJ and Duncan and Haddaway singles, and, erm, other cheese fans will be impressed with the variety of shoes on offer. Seriously, even if you've never before considered putting your feet where somebody else's have been, these well-preserved vintage one-offs may well tempt you to play footsie. They also stock a selection of books, though serious collectors and music enthusiasts should check out the specialist Headingley branch for the ultimate cheap thrills.
