Sheesh Mahal

Old food may not be that great, but old recipes surely are the best. Noted as one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, Sheesh Mahal's owner Azram Chaudhry knows exactly how to treat his customers and feeds them recipes that have been passed down throughout his family. Highly rated by Leeds' Curry Club (we're so joining) and frequented by Jimmy Savile, it must have something jingly jangly special about it. If you're struggling to choose between this place and the generic-looking Indian/American across the road, don't even bother crossing.
