The Packhorse

As you might be able to guess from the fact that it's named after a mode of transportation that went out with anaesthetic-free surgery, this pub ain't no spring chicken. The décor isn't much to write home about (unless of course your family have a thing for tired pub interiors), but the collection of local music lovers that head here don't seem too bothered. If you're after catching a bit of local live talent before they hit the big time, then this is the place to do it. But don't be expecting a classy night out.
