Walking into Boon is like entering Barbie's boudoir. Hot pink assaults you from every angle. Big lovehearts flirt with you from the windows. There are even free sweets on offer. All of this caramel-drizzled, icing-dusted, chocolate-dipped whimsy may well be to distract you from the quality of the clothes, most of which are cheap and cheerful at best. If you're after fun but disposable fashion and are easily bribed with sugar, give the shop a look. If you're after something with timeless elegance, you'll find Boon Boutique about as much use as the contents of Ken's underpants.
