Roundhay Park

Absolutely spot on for something other than the usual rubbish to throw a weekend away on, -Roundhay Park has three different gardens and the endlessly fascinating Tropical World (see page 91), plus it hosts great live concerts and the best Bonfire Night ever. One of Itchy's mates had a girlfriend nicknamed the Roundhay Fox after the pub nearby. She wasn't bad looking, but it was more that odd habit she had of rifling through bins looking for scraps of discarded doner meat and congealed lamb bhuna.
