Not a group of hip-hop wannabes from South London, but a cheering place to keep hunger from the door. For anyone who thought that to turn vegan was to resign yourself to a lifetime of flavourless beige slop ought to do themselves a favour and check out Beano Wholefoods. All manner of pasties, pies, pakoras and other delicious meatless treats are available for sit-in snacking or take-away, and not a whiff of gristle, eyelid and lip to be found anywhere. They're also terribly ethical types, so you're basically healing the world by eating there.
