Wagamama

Wagamama has been sweeping across the world faster than the seven samurai and has now brought its distinctive Japanese flavour to Yorkshire. Thankfully there's little 'eeh by gum' in evidence and plenty of Ebi Gozi (that's prawn dumplings to the uninitiated). The service is swifter than a ninja on speed and the food saucier than a down-on-her-luck geisha. Be warned though: the harsh fluorescent lighting may make the food look pretty but won't do the same for any inevitable first date pimples. And the prices might make you look cheap.
