Harewood House

Harewood House increasingly caters to all tastes, for a – yeuch – 'fun family day out' that won't have you nodding off before your nan does. The building itself is backed up by birds (of the feathered variety), gardens, boating, art galleries, and an adventure playground (come off it, you know you want a go). As of 2007, a planetarium has also been added to the stately offerings. In the summer months, Harewood has also hosted events as diverse as Opera in the Park, the O2 Wireless festival and Iggy Pop.
