Thai Cottage

If you're after a decent meal for a fiver, your options in the city centre are fairly limited – most of them involve unidentifiable animal by-products served with mayonnaise in a polystyrene carton – and cheap Thai food in particular is rarer than hens' teeth. Thankfully Thai Cottage bridges the financial gap nicely, and with quality assured, there's no danger of hens' teeth actually turning up in your Tom Yum soup. Two sites to choose from and the Great George Street branch is more cavernous than cottage-like.
