Aptly enough, The Cockpit is a vast, gloomy aircraft hangar of a club, full of sexy young things with aerodynamically tight jeans, precision engineering cheekbones, and coolly asymmetrical haircuts that can endure more than a black box. The DJs at the helm will take alternative music lovers to the stratosphere and back with a mix of indie, electro, new wave and classic rock, or with metal, grunge, ska and punk, depending on the club night. And at just two quid for doubles at all times, getting high as a kite here is cheaper than easyJet...
