Hip
Hip have the kind of self-congratulatory name that makes you want to hate them, but in fact they're pretty much on the money. The store and the clobber within have an old skool street aesthetic that has endured over the store's 20 years of trading. They also maintain close links with the local College of Art and Design, showcasing local up-and-coming designers, giving the store a youthful air that belies its geriatric status. Their booty is surprisingly affordable, so if you're tired of the same limping old high street style, maybe it's time for a Hip replacement.
