Middleton Railway
Apparently, the world's oldest working railway, albeit with a bit of a lazy approach towards the 'working' – the steam trains only run on Sundays, from March to December. A one day week – it's certainly nice work if you can get it. But seriously, as the railway is entirely staffed by lovely volunteers, who'll do their best to make this a grand day out, we haven't the heart to muster any cynicism towards this most quaint of Yo'rksheere activities. And if you're waiting for us to drop in a few lame railway-related puns, we're afraid you're on the wrong track.
