Via Verde

Via Verde is not for the claustrophobic. Its small menu has small prices with small cutlery on a small table, and its small chairs are in a small room with a small kitchen. However it manages to make the most of the space provided. One waitress and chef serve about 20 people. The specials board doubles the menu size and at times it seems like walls are pushed back to create extra space. Effectively it's like eating inside a Russian doll. The food is excellent. The pizzas are fresh, the seafood is diverse and the service is very relaxed. It's the best restaurant in the area. Itchy recommends the Margarita; timeless and tasty.

Some of friends like this restaurant. We tried it, wanted to like it and have to say we were disappointed. Definitely not the best restaurant in the area, not when we have the timeless classic Salvo's just up the road.
