There are many shops in Leeds which are perfect for people who are after some retail therapy. Trinity Leeds shopping centre is one of the city’s most popular, filled with all the most popular British and international brands. There are also loads of great restaurants nearby. However, if you’re looking for somewhere a bit more niche, here’s our guide for hidden Leeds shopping gems:
The Traditional Shaving Company
In this shop you can find all the right kit for a traditional shaving experience. They stock an impressive list of high-quality products, including brands such as Bluebeard’s Revenge and Taylors of Old Bond Street. Whether you’re after razors, beard oil, moustache wax or shampoo, this gem of a shop has everything you need.
The Third Estate
This is a brilliant, niche shop which stocks ethical and fashionable brand such as Fred Perry and Ethletic vegetarian shoes. This shop is one of the few places that stocks Fred Perry clothes for women. It’s quirky, fashionable and great quality.
Tshirt Store
This very cool shop was set up in response to the homogenous brands found in high-street shops. You can find clothes from all over the world here, including ones with retro brands including Gameboy and VHS as well as t-shirts with band and concert names on. This place also does trousers and hoodies.
Jumbo Records
Jumbo Records is heaven for any record lover, selling equipment and a great selection of vinyl. Hunter Smith established this shop in 1971. It would later be hailed as one corner of the Vinyl Triangle, along with Crash Records and Relic Records.
